“To encourage the development and success of zero-emission vehicles to protect the environment, stimulate economic growth and improve the quality of life in the State”, Governor Brown issued an Executive Order in March 2012 setting several milestones aimed at reaching the long-term target of 1.5 million zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) on California’s roads by 2025.

The Action Plan ‘A roadmap toward 1.5 million zero-emission vehicles on California roadways by 2025’ outlines actions that are ongoing or planned to be launched to help expand the ZEV market.
