ELEVTRA was at the Electric Vehicle Symposium EVS27 held on 17-20 November 2013 in Barcelona to present its latest developments, invite people to join the EV Cluster and inform attendees about its final conference to be held in Brussels in September 2014.
Thanks to the “Project Dissemination” initiative of the ELEVTRA organisers, the project was selected for EVS27’s Dialogue Session, and given the opportunity to discuss latest project developments, outcomes and the timeline with industry experts and universities.

Latest developments

10 months before the end of the project, ELEVTRA project partners have now completed the development of the training materials. Translated versions are being finalised and will be uploaded to the e-learning platform before the end of the year.

This content will be available to selected individuals and institutions at the beginning of 2014 in all partner languages (English, French, Dutch, Czech, Slovenian, Spanish, and German), for testing purposes.

Join the EV Cluster

ELEVTRA is looking for individuals that are interested in supporting the project’s outcomes by providing technical advice.

More specifically, ELEVTRA is looking to build a cluster of OEMs, training institutes and engineers willing to participate and comment on the training modules.

If you are interested in the subject of EV maintenance & repair training, and want to be part of the cluster and receive updates on latest developments, you can fill in the form on the “Join the EV Cluster” page.

ELEVTRA Project

The ELEVTRA project – ELEctric Vehicle TRAining, was launched on 1 October 2011 to develop a professional profile for electronic engineers specialised in the maintenance and repair of electric vehicles and charging stations.

Fundación Metal Asturias (FMA) – one of the largest vocational education and training providers in Northern Spain, leads the project. The other project partners come from Germany (University of Applied Sciences Bochum), Slovenia (Solski center Velenje), Spain (University of Oviedo) and the Czech Republic (Integrovana stredni skola automobilni ISSA Brno). As the official dissemination partner Belgian market development company shecco is responsible for building the project website, for disseminating major milestones, and for organising a final seminar in October 2014 with leading decision makers from the automotive industry, supranational and national legislators, as well as training institutes.
